Rider Hotline Team Member

Here’s a great opportunity to get your foot into the action sports industry. Come join the team for a Summer and experience what the Gorge is all about! The Rider Hotline Team Member will join the Slingshot Sports, and Ride Engine Customer Service Team for the height of the kiting, winging, wakeboarding, and foiling season. The position is based out of the 7-Nation Headquarters in beautiful Hood River, OR.

Job Overview

The Customer Service Dept. runs the Rider Hotline and provides support for two brands and a global network of dealers, importers, and customers. It is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, problem solving, and excellent communication. The seasonal position will assist in answering email and phone inquiries (aka “The Rider Hotline”) to provide information on our extensive product line, sell products, assist with any product issues, warranty claims, and dealer services, and provide excellent overall customer support and satisfaction.

Main duties include:

  • Provide product and sales support
  • Manage walk-in traffic
  • Review and process global warranty claims
  • DTC and B2B Sales

Required skills:

  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to stay on task in a fast-paced environment
  • Well organized
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred skills:

  • Previous customer service job experience
  • Experienced in windsports (kiting, windsurfing, foiling, winging)

Position details:

  • Hourly Position (30 hours per week M- F, June - August)
  • Option to work remote DOE
