Engineered for cold water conditions, the RE_X 5/4 Hooded delivers increased thermal protection without sacrificing the flexibility required for unrestricted performance. Its integrated, full coverage hood retains critical body heat while fending off the infamous “ice cream” headache during plunging crashes and repeated duck dives.

Cold water protection starts with premium Japanese limestone based neoprene made with carbon black, engineered for high stretch, thermal efficiency, and long term shape retention. The Texture_X external lamination works with the Body CAD panel design to preserve freedom of movement despite the suit’s increased thickness. Inside, recycled liners and strategically placed Thermal Lock fleece hold warmth close to the body and dry quickly between sessions. Fully taped, glued and blind stitched seams help limit water entry when conditions turn cold.
